Candles And Bows For Pink Saturday

Welcome to another Pink Saturday!

Do you have a little corner in your home where you can create little displays? My ‘little corner’ keeps changing position but wherever it goes it gets a new display. I guess it’s almost like setting up vases of flowers and changing them as needed. I’m not very good with real flowers inside the house but I like creating little displays. This came about because I would need to photograph various items which were up for sale. I would leave the corner table set up for a short while before packing everything back into their boxes. Now I use any gifts that have been given or whatever I have, or haven’t used for some time. So ……….

Take some pink candles with pink bows…..

Find a set of pink glass candleholders……. add the pink candles…

… add a few more pretties and experiment with a couple of settings.

Pink Glass Candleholders – these were on my EP Designs product list.

Pink Candles – I decorated candles mainly with Christmas themes but I couldn’t resist adding pink to my design range.

Rose Painting – my very first practice at painting roses at an all day class.

Potpourri Bowl – one of my recreated items.

There are many wonderful entries for Pink Saturday which is hosted by Beverly at How Sweet The Sound. Take time to visit participants’ blogs and see how Pink  everyone’s Saturdays can be.

Happy Pink Saturday!

  2. Very pretty…so pink with a nice warm feeling! Hope you have a great PINK SATURDAY.

By the way, “Elena” was my name given to me by my Italian teacher in high school…because my middle name is Alane.

  3. Good morning! I love your pink candles, and your first painted roses too! I keep meaning to take an evening class in painting, or anything NEW really, and I never seem to follow through. I don’t know how much time I’m presuming God is giving me in this lifetime, but I think that while I’m still blessed with the time TO DO SO, I would love to learn to paint roses! I know I’ve also mentioned wanting to learn to make roses for cake decorating!.. Well, “one of these days”, right?! Happy Pink Saturday, and hope you have a wonderful week!

  4. Good morning Beansie! Although I don’t think my time of the morning is the same time as yours at the moment, lol.

Sometimes when there is something you want to do you just need to DO IT! …. says me, chief procrastinator. It took me ages before I finally got to doing that painting class …. and I’m happy I finally did it. The time will come for you too :)

  5. What a lovely display! It is fun to arrange things, isn’t it? You did a lovely job and that painting is so pretty! You are very talented. Happy Pink Saturday!
