Pink Saturday – Tea or Coffee, With Love

Welcome to my first Pink Saturday entry.

I’m not a great tea drinker as my friends would know – I adore the fabulous aroma of coffee freshly brewing and then sitting down to enjoy a great coffee and something ‘nice’ to go with it, in the company of good friends ….. of course, this little social event is not exclusively for coffee drinkers alone, but is also enjoyed by many at delightful tea parties. This set will add to the fun and enjoyment of a good beverage and good company.

I never actually planned to collect tea sets but I seem to have a collection building up. This particular set I’m sharing with you today is a delightful, ornate design which would cheer up any home and send away any ‘doom & gloom’ which may be hovering around.

Above Photo:  shows matching pieces which can be added to the set – teapot, lidded sugar bowl, creamer, mugs, large jug and also cup & saucer (which are not seen in this photo).

Pink is not my favourite colour but I do like it and I do use it around the house. The pink background with the white embossing is a cheery and delicious looking combination.

So lets have a cuppa … or strong brew, together as we read more Pink Saturday stories.

There are many wonderful entries for Pink Saturday which is hosted by Beverly at How Sweet The Sound. Take time to visit participants’ blogs and see how Pink  everyone’s Saturdays can be.

Happy Pink Saturday!

  1. Welcome to your first Pink Saturday, Elena. I hope you enjoy participating.

Girl, I love this set. And, I would love to get a couple of those large mugs. Where in the world did you find them? My “favorite” mug broke a few months ago, and I have been on the hunt for a new favorite. I like tall mugs, and those look tall.

  2. Hi Beverly – Thank you for the welcome.

Yes, those mugs are tall. The set was part of my EP Designs product range. But the for the past 18 months my business has been on pause so everything is still sitting in boxes on shelves until I move ahead & revive my business ….. which won’t be long now.

Lovely to meet you too Tristan & Jennifer :)

  3. Welcome! I’m stopping by to say hello, and Happy Pink Saturday. I love your photos, that set is adorable, how perfect for today.

What kind of a blog is this??? How’d you get your store up there? Please, enlighten me – I’m searching for just such a solution.

Please stop by, scroll through, leave a comment – I love company.

  4. Hi Jennifer and welcome to my blog!
This blog is part of the ‘business’ I kept on the go for the past 18 months while everything else was on pause. I just didn’t want everything to disappear off the radar completely, so blogging was a good way to keep in touch and let people know EP Designs will be back.

The store scroll comes from bidmate.com.au – this is where I have a store set up as an alternative to ebay. Although I can’t wait until I’m able to upgrade my web so customers can buy directly from my site.

Thank you for stopping by – I will definitely come over & say ‘Hi’.

  5. What a lovely, lovely blog and pink post! 😉 Welcome to the gang.

Please dont take this as a negative…but it was VERY hard for me to find a spot to comment. (had to really try many ways.) so you may want to see how it could show easier how and where to comment.

I know i had to reposition my comment on my blog.

    Just a thought.

    I will be back.

  6. Hi Claudia, thank you for the welcome – it’s nice to be part of hte ‘gang’ :)

No offence taken at all. I appreciate your feedback about trying to find the comment link. I’ve been searching for new themes & templates for 2 of my blogs, but without success – just can’t find what I want. With my limited techo knowledge I’ll see what I can do to improve the visability of the comment link in the meantime.

    Many thanks :)

  7. Welcome to Pink Saturday! I love that tea set. It is so girly and somewhat delicate, yet I can tell it is sturdy, which is always a concern for me. I’m tough on china!

  8. HI and welcome to your first Pink Saturday post! I think you’ll have a lot of fun blog-hopping. Love your site, very tasteful and the pink china is great fun. I finally found your comment section – I hit the 2 Moms thing by mistake!

Happy Pink Saturday and have a lovely weekend.

  11. Elena,
Happy PINK to you! The tea set is beautiful..I have taken up HOT tea drinking in the past few years due to coffee not liking my gut anymore..but I am in a splurge period of coffee drinking right now..I do love Earl Grey tea..it has become my favorite..with a bit of local honey added.

    Have a great week,
    Stephanie

  12. Hi Stephanie – I’ve never thought of adding honey to Earl Grey. I’m sorry to hear about not being able to drink coffee – hope the splurge doesn’t go down badly – enjoy if you can.
    Thank you for visiting :)
